Swords, Rings and Magic Things

Summary:
A young lady runs away from her city home; the only things to her name a sword, a filled backpack, and a shaky plan. Said shaky plan shatters much earlier than anticipated when a train robbery brings her in the path of an old veteran; who, coincidentally, happens to be exactly one of the sorts of people she's looking for. She was expecting her desperate request of apprenticeship to brushed off at best.

She was expecting the acceptance of it even less.

Urban Fantasy/Adventure

Warnings:
While fairly mild, there are some depictions of emotional abuse and its' effects, and of violence. Also, swearing. There's always swearing.
